With multiple drivers confirmed for their Battery Tender Global MX5 Cup Presented by BF Goodrich Tires, Copeland Motorsports is pleased to welcome Dinah Weisberg to their growing program. Set to compete in the Blancpain GT World Challenge TC America program, Weisberg will join Tyler Maxson in the ND1 Global MX5 Cup Car in the TCA class.

“Dinah has years’ worth of experience and is a great addition to our team,” explained Copeland Motorsports’ Dean Copeland. “She is very talented behind the wheel of a race car and will be a great team driver alongside Tyler Maxson in the TCA class.”

With both a professional business and a driving background, Weisberg understands what it takes to succeed both in and out of the driver’s seat. As the president and CEO of REDCOM Laboratories, Inc. in Victor, New York, Weisberg has been in the drivers’ seat in helping to develop and manufacture the world’s most reliable communications systems for all branches of the military, government agencies, emergency responders, service providers, and enterprises.

During Dinah’s time away from the office, she can be seen at the racetrack in both a competitive and coaching environment. Dinah will compete in the TC America program behind the wheel of a Copeland Motorsports prepared Mazda MX5 Cup Car. Dinah started racing in 2004, and has raced in SCCA club events including 24-hour endure events, SVRA Vintage, GRAND-AM, IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, and Pirelli World Challenge events.

Copeland continued, “We have one more opening in both TC America and the Global MX5 Cup Challenge for 2019. Our programs can be catered to fit your needs as we can offer tent and transport or arrive and drive options for each and every event.”
