It was an exciting weekend for Copeland Motorsports as the team wrapped up the 2025 Toyota GR Cup season at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With strong qualifying performances, competitive race pace, and a podium to close out the year, the weekend marked a fitting finale to a successful campaign for the Maryland-based outfit.

In qualifying one, Jaxon Bell led the charge for the team, securing pole position, while Jeremy Fletcher lined up third. Beltre Curtis would start from 11th, Henry Drury—making his debut with the team—13th, and Ford Koch 15th.

Race one proved to be eventful from start to finish. Fletcher initially crossed the line first, but a post-race penalty moved him back to eighth. Koch and Drury followed close behind, finishing ninth and tenth, while Curtis secured 12th. Bell showed a strong early pace, running up front until contact forced him to retire early.

In qualifying two, it was newcomer Henry Drury who took pole position, demonstrating impressive pace in his first weekend with the team. Fletcher qualified seventh, Koch 11th, Bell 15th, and Curtis 16th.

Race two brought redemption and excitement for Copeland Motorsports. Bell charged through the field, advancing 12 positions to claim a third-place podium finish, his second of the season. Drury and Koch followed with strong runs to finish fifth and sixth, respectively. Fletcher faced challenges, finishing 21st, while Curtis’s day ended early, just six laps short of completing the final race of the season.

“This weekend at Indy was a good way to end our year but leaves us hungry and motivated for 2026,” said Team Owner Dean Copeland. “We had front-row starts, a pole for Henry in his first event, and a well-earned podium for Jaxon in the final race. It really shows the depth of our program and the progress our drivers have made all season. Everyone at Copeland Motorsport—drivers, engineers, and crew—has worked incredibly hard to develop these Toyota GR Supra GT4s and GR86s, and I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come. The momentum we’ve built this season gives us a great foundation heading into 2026.”

The team’s efforts over the season would secure them a second-place result in the 2025 Team Championship, along with Jaxon Bell claiming the 2025 Driver Vice-Championship title. With the 2025 Toyota GR Cup season officially complete, Copeland Motorsports now shifts its focus to preparing for an expanded 2026 campaign, building on its success and continued driver development efforts.
