After a four win and six podium performance to restart their 2020 TC America season, it is now time for Copeland Motorsports to get their 2020 Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup Presented by BF Goodrich season underway. Heading to the Kettle Moraine region in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin and the beautiful 4.014-mile Road America facility, Copeland Motorsports will enter four drivers as they look to add to their season win and podium total.

“Last race was last race, and we are fully committed to winning this weekend as well,” expressed Dean Copeland. “The Global MX-5 Cup program is one of the most competitive series in North America, and we will be working as hard as possible to make sure that we are once again on top. As the 2019 championship winning team, we have the target firmly on our backs but that is the pressure that we like to have as we look to repeat in 2020.”

As a multi-time, race winning program and the reigning series champions, Copeland Motorsports enters the event with a four-driver lineup and the opportunity to run a fifth car at future events. Leading the way into Road America is team newcomer Robert Noaker. The talented race winner will be a threat for the title after making the switch from his privateer family effort to the powerful Copeland Motorsports program. Joining Noaker on the grid will be Dan Williams, Peter Atwater and Paul Stanton as the complete quartet of drivers look to stand on the podium with the first event weekend on the horizon.

With an adjusted schedule and being added to the WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman weekend, Copeland Motorsports will be on track Wednesday through Friday in the double race format. Live timing can be found at www.MX-5Cup.com.
