Copeland Motorsports is set to return to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge action this weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, where they will once again field the #23 Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 for drivers Ford Koch and Jaxon Bell. The event marks the team’s third IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge outing of the season, and an important step as they prepare for a full-season campaign in 2026.
After debuting in the series earlier this year, Copeland Motorsports has used each round to build valuable experience with its Toyota Supra GT4 program. Now, they look to combine everything they’ve learned in their first three events into a strong showing on one of IMSA’s biggest stages — the MOTUL Petit Le Mans weekend.
The finale will take place at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, a 2.54-mile, 12-turn circuit that features some of the most significant elevation changes in all motorsports that test both driver skill and team strategy. Serving as the traditional home of Petit Le Mans, Road Atlanta offers an electric atmosphere and a fitting stage for the final green flag of the Michelin Pilot Challenge season.
“We’ve learned a lot in our first three IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge events, and Road Atlanta will be a great test of how far we’ve come,” explained Team Owner Dean Copeland. “Ford and Jaxon have done a great job adapting to the series, and our crew has been working tirelessly to optimize the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 package. This weekend is not just about finishing the season strong, but also about setting the tone for a full 2026 campaign.”
With eyes on both the present and the future, Copeland Motorsports will look to close the year on a high note at one of the most prestigious weekends in North American sports car racing. The weekend kicks off with Practice 1 on Wednesday, October 8, followed by Practice 2 and qualifying on Thursday, October 9. The season-ending FOX Factory 120 will take place on Friday, October 10 at 12:45 PM ET. Fans can watch live at IMSA.com or on Peacock TV.
