Copeland Motorsports is set to take on round two of the Toyota GR Cup North America Series this weekend at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, with an impressive six-car lineup. Drivers Jaxon Bell, John Dean, Ford Koch, Jenson Sofronas, Zach Hollingshead, and Beltre Curtis will all be representing the team as they look to rebound from some bad luck that started their 2025 campaign.

In round one at Sonoma Raceway, the team showed strong pace, highlighted by Jaxon Bell’s stellar second-place finish in race two, after being taken out of contention during race one, and John Dean’s solid fifth-place finish in race one — the team’s highest results from race one of the opening weekend. With momentum on their side, Copeland Motorsports is primed for an exciting outing at the world-renowned Circuit of the Americas.

“We’re really excited to head into COTA with such a strong group of drivers, and we are hoping to build some positive momentum after a challenging opening round where we had a ton of bad luck,” explained Dean Copeland, team owner of Copeland Motorsports. “Our results at Sonoma were not what we have seen in previous seasons, but showed the potential of this lineup, and we’re confident we can push even further this weekend. COTA is a technical and demanding track, but our preparation has been solid. We’re looking forward to battling for wins and podiums across the board.”

The weekend will kick off on Thursday with a pair of test sessions, followed by two practice sessions on Friday, giving drivers time to dial in their setups ahead of qualifying and racing action. Saturday will feature Qualifying 1 followed by Race 1, while Sunday will host Qualifying 2 and the final Race 2 of the weekend.

With a deep roster of talent and a drive to deliver results, Copeland Motorsports is ready to attack round two at COTA and continue climbing the championship ladder. Fans can tune in live to catch all the action at grcupseries.com/watch-live.
