A Toyota GR Cup North America race winner in 2024, Jaxon Bell returns to Copeland Motorsports as he sets his sights on the 2025 championship. Earning one race win on route to six podium results, Bell will remove the rookie stripes in 2025 as he aims to lead Copeland Motorsports to their third consecutive GR Cup Driver and Team Championship.
“I am excited to be back and ready to start the season,” Bell expressed. “We had a good year together in 2024, and I learned a ton that will help me in 2025. The goal is simple for me, and I am thankful that Copeland Motorsports has given me the opportunity. With testing already underway, we are working hard to check boxes and achieve our goals.”
“Jaxon is a fierce competitor and very mature for his age,” explained Dean Copeland, Owner of Copeland Motorsports. “He competed with and raced alongside winners in 2024 and pushed his experience to a whole new level that will assist in his efforts in 2025.”
Hailing from Pacific Palisades, California, Jaxon began his motorsports career three years ago. In his first full season of racing, he won six of the 16 races in the Skip Barber Racing Formula Series. Jaxon also competed in a partial season of the 2023 Toyota GR Cup North America program. He finished with two podium results and five top-five finishes in the ten races he competed in. In 2024, Jaxon earned one race win, six podium results, and one pole position, building a base to propel him into being a championship contender in 2025.
Copeland added, “Jaxon learned a ton last year and was consistently at the front of the field. Learning how to race the best in the GR Cup program made him a better driver, and he should be a contender for the championship in 2025 as we look to keep our championship streak alive.”
The 2025 Toyota GR Cup North America schedule will consist of seven event weekends and 14 wheel-to-wheel races commencing in early March in California.
