With a two-month hiatus, Copeland Motorsports is primed and ready to get back on track next week. As the current Driver Championship and Team Championship point leader, the potent program will enter the VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) with a powerful five-driver lineup featuring one change from previous weekend events.

Zach Hollingshead will join the Copeland Motorsports Toyota GR Cup North America program. A winning kart racer who has competed in some car racing events will make his GR Cup North America debut at VIR as he looks to continue the success of the Copeland Motorsports brand.

“Zach is a true racer, and I am confident he will fit in at our program,” explained Dean Copeland. “While Zach drives the #51 car, we will have five drivers who will all be gunning for race wins, podium results, and more at VIR.”

While Hollingshead head joins the team, Copeland Motorsports will enter championship point leader Gresham Wagner, multi-time podium winner Westin Workman, recent race winner Jaxon Bell, and the fastest female in the paddock in Mia Lovell.

Copeland continued, “The success has been great this season, but we need to keep our heads down. We have a talented driving quintet and some very knowledgeable and experienced people in the paddock. This program’s competition is tough, and we must ensure we keep doing everything right.”

Set to hit the track next Friday for a pair of practice sessions, Saturday will be the home of qualifying and race one, while Sunday will see qualifying two and the second wheel-to-wheel race of the weekend.
