Looking to continue their streak of success after winning both the Driver and Team Championships in 2023 and 2024, Copeland Motorsports is adding young talent Ford Koch to their 2025 lineup. Entering his sophomore season, Koch will join the championship-caliber Copeland Motorsports program in his quest for success.
Koch’s passion for racing began when he was five years old, racing off-road go-karts with his brother. Gaining several on-track days in an MX-5 before moving to the Toyota GR Cup North America program in 2024, now, with his focus set on 2025, Koch is primed and ready for success with Copeland Motorsports.
“I enjoyed racing in the Toyota GR Cup series so far, and I’m really excited to join a team that’s had so much success in the series,” Koch explained. “I’m looking forward to learning and growing as a driver, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together. The Copeland Motorsports results resume is second to none, and I hope to add to it.”
Koch made his professional racing debut in 2024 in the Toyota GR Cup North America program, driving at Sonoma Raceway. In his first professional race, he scored a solid top-ten finish. Driving in select other events across the country, Koch continued to find success, earning two more top-ten finishes and two hard charger awards.
“We are excited to have Ford joining us in 2025,” Team Owner Dean Copeland added. “He showed speed and strength in his GR Cup starts last year, and we are hoping to build on those results and help him achieve the results he is striving for.”
